Blue Cross Blue Shield and Definity Health (Target Employees) Benefit

If you’re a Blue Cross Blue Shield “Blue Print for Health” member or a Definity Health Member, you could receive a rebate on your Jazzercise membership. Attend class just 8 or 12 times each month, depending on the requirements of your health insurance, and receive a $20.00 rebate. Pick up a form at class and bring in a copy of your Blue Cross Blue Shield member card. If you aren't sure if this benefit is offered on your coverage, contact your benefits department.

Jazzercise Raises $$ for Breast Cancer

Woodbury, MN --Woodbury Jazzercisers raised $1856.00 for the Susan G Komen for the Cure Foundation by staging a benefit dance-fitness class and raffle on October 26, 2009. According to Jazzercise instructor and benefit organizer Renee Nelson, “this year marked the fourth year of this event which was created in 2006 to support a Jazzercise member who was diagnosed with breast cancer. Continued difficult economic times threatened to put a damper on the event again this year but true to form, our wonderful family of Jazzercise students and staff rose to the challenge and raised our highest total to date! The energy at class was amazing and an affirmation that Jazzercise does indeed make a difference in the lives of the people we touch.”
Held at the Woodbury Middle School, the event drew over 50 participants. Sixteen raffle prizes were given away including cookie trays and themed gift baskets.
Jazzercise, now in its 40th year, offers a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga, and kickboxing movements. The program has positively affected millions of people worldwide with benefits including increased cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility, as well as an overall "feel good" factor.

Inclement Weather Policy

If there is no school for District 833 –South Washington County-Woodbury/Cottage Grove, there is no Jazzercise. On Saturdays and Sundays use your discretion- we will make every attempt to get to class but don’t risk life and limb to get there. I will update the website and Hotline as soon as information is available.
