Blue Cross Blue Shield and Definity Health (Target Employees) Benefit
If you’re a Blue Cross Blue Shield “Blue Print for Health” member or a Definity Health Member, you could receive a rebate on your Jazzercise membership. Attend class just 8 or 12 times each month, depending on the requirements of your health insurance, and receive a $20.00 rebate. Pick up a form at class and bring in a copy of your Blue Cross Blue Shield member card. If you aren't sure if this benefit is offered on your coverage, contact your benefits department.
$1886.00 raised for Breast Cancer Awareness and Research!!!
(Woodbury, MN) -- Woodbury Jazzercisers raised $1886.00 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation by staging a special dance-fitness class and raffle on October 29, 2007. According to Jazzercise instructor and benefit organizer Renee Nelson, “Last year, one of our members was diagnosed with breast cancer and that put a “face” on the disease for me. This event was created in 2006 to support her and our other members who are Breast Cancer survivors and those who have family members affected by this disease. The response from our members again this year was truly overwhelming! We look forward to making this an annual event and raising even more money in 2008!” Held at the Woodbury Junior High, the event drew over 50 participants. Thirteen raffle prizes were given away including themed gift baskets.
Now celebrating its 37th year, Jazzercise, created by Judi Sheppard Missett, is the world’s leading dance-fitness program. Nelson has been the owner of Woodbury Jazzercise for ten years and has been teaching for 18 years. Inclement Weather Policy
If there is no school for District 833 – Washington County-Woodbury/Cottage Grove, there is no Jazzercise. On Saturdays and Sundays use your discretion- we will make every attempt to get to class but don’t risk life and limb to get there. I will update the website and Hotline as soon as information is available.
